ABOUT US

The Philippine College of Surgeons Cancer Commission Foundation (PCS CANCOM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Filipinos on their cancer journeys and fostering better quality of life and survivorship.

We are a recognized partner of the Department of Health (DOH) in advancing the Multidisciplinary Team Approach and establishing systems to monitor cancer surgical outcomes — as part of the National Integrated Cancer Control Act (NICCA).

Our Story

Founded in 2019 by a group of healthcare professionals and advocates from within and outside the PCS, PCS CANCOM was born out of a shared commitment to improve the quality of cancer care in the Philippines.

We believe that every Filipino — regardless of socioeconomic status or location — deserves access to quality cancer care.

Vision

To build a stronger Philippines with improved cancer survivorship and health outcomes

Mission

To advance quality cancer care through an integrated (M3) multisectoral, multidisciplinary, and multistakeholder approach focused on capacity-building, collaboration, and scientific research.
