PCS CANCOM

Philippine College of Surgeons Cancer Commission Foundation (PCS CANCOM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Filipinos on their cancer journeys, fostering a path towards better quality of life and survivorship. A recognized partner of the Department of Health (DOH) in promoting the Multidisciplinary Team Approach and establishing the mechanics to monitor Cancer Surgical Treatment Outcomes, under the National Integrated Cancer Control Act (NICCA).

The foundation was founded in 2019 by a group of healthcare professionals and advocates from within and outside the PCS who are passionate about improving the quality of cancer care in the Philippines. PCS CANCOM believes that everyone deserves access to quality cancer care, regardless of their socioeconomic status or location.

PCS CANCOM is dedicated to empowering Filipinos on their cancer journeys, fostering a path towards better quality of life and survivorship. Established in 2019, PCS CANCOM leads the way in improving access to high-quality cancer care throughout the Philippines.

April is Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month

Head and neck cancers can affect vital areas such as the mouth, throat, voice box, and sinuses — and early detection can save lives. Warning signs like a persistent sore throat, hoarseness, difficulty swallowing, or a lump in the neck should never be ignored.
