STRENGTHENING ASEAN COLLABORATION FOR HEALTH EQUITY
The PCS Cancer Commission Foundation proudly participated in the ASEAN Regional Collaboration Meeting on Advancing Health Equity and Enhancing Synergies: Integrating Cervical Cancer and HIV/AIDS Initiatives, held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Representing the Foundation were Directors Carmen Auste and Tefel Pesigan-Valentino, who joined key leaders and managers from the Department of Health (DOH) and fellow ASEAN partners in driving forward a shared vision: accessible, equitable, and integrated health services for all.
Together with our ASEAN neighbors, PCS CanCom reaffirms its commitment to a united regional effort against cancer— one that bridges systems, strengthens partnerships, and uplifts lives through collaboration and care.
EMPOWERING CANCER ADVOCATES FOR GLOBAL IMPACT
The PCS Cancer Commission Foundation proudly took part in The Cancer NGO Lab, a pre-congress workshop of the World Cancer Congress held in Doha, Qatar — with participants from 25 countries across the globe.
Representing the Foundation — and the Philippines — was Ms. Tefel Pesigan-Valentino, our Executive Director, who joined global leaders and advocates in strengthening the role of NGOs in advancing person-centered, equitable, and sustainable cancer care systems.
Together, we continue to learn, collaborate, and lead in building a stronger, united response against cancer — in the Philippines and beyond.
